The Mural Itinerary transforms Vitoria-Gasteiz into an open-air urban gallery. The route invites visitors to discover the façades of the medieval quarter and other neighbourhoods in the city, which have been transformed into large-scale collaborative artworks created with the participation of artists and local residents.
Each mural tells a story and reflects how collaborative art brings the streets to life and brings the community together. Projects such as the IMVG – La Ciudad Pintada and the initiatives of the Fill in Culture collective demonstrate the value of mural art as a tool for self-expression, creativity and civic engagement.
